Our group is interested in π-conjugated materials, especially, π-conjugated polymers for next-generation flexible and printable optoelectronic devices including organic transistors and solar cells. We design and synthesize new materials, investigate their properties and structures, and even fabricate devices. Through such comprehensive study, we strive to discover new science and concepts with impact in this area. One of our goals is to create novel π-conjugated materials with high semiconducting properties and high functions that can realize world’s highest device performances.
私たちのグループでは、π共役系材料、特に電気を通すプラスチックとして知られるπ共役系ポリマーと、塗って作れる柔らかい次世代デバイスとして注目を集める有機トランジスタや有機薄膜太陽電池など有機エレクトロニクスデバイスについて研究しています。化合物の設計から合成、物性や構造解明、さらにデバイス作製をも行い、構造と物性の相関関係を明らかにすることで、π共役系材料の新しいサイエンスやコンセプトの発見を目指しています。そして、世界最高のデバイス性能を与える革新的なπ共役系材料の創出に挑戦しています。
